Are you passionate about optoelectronics, photonics, microelectronics, precision assembly, and technological innovation? Join C2MI and contribute to the development and optimization of next-generation optical assembly processes. Reporting to the Technical Director, you will play a key role in developing creative assembly processes, ensuring their smooth operation, and participating in their transfer to other companies for commercialization. As an optoelectronics professional, you will be responsible for optimizing active and passive optical alignment processes, developing optoelectronics assembly processes, and advancing emerging technologies such as heterogeneous integration and photonic wire bonding. Your technical expertise, combined with your collaborative approach, will be instrumental in shaping the future of manufacturable optical integration. RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, characterize, and optimize assembly processes for optoelectronic devices and the packaging of complex systems (advanced packaging) based on client requirements (bonding of microprocessors or optical components, alignment of optical fibers/lasers, waveguide printing, etc.). Execute projects in accordance with best practices in optoelectronic assembly, taking into account manufacturing and industrialization constraints. Rigorously document processes, tests, and results to support technological maturity and the transition to production. Prioritize projects and manage resources (equipment, materials, personnel) based on timelines and strategic requirements. Be able to write, read, and speak English with our international clients. Provide accurate data analyses (quality, costs, cycle times)



to support business decisions. Perform any other tasks assigned by your supervisor within your area of expertise. SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering physics, optical engineering, photonics, applied physics, or a related field. Master's degree (M.Sc. or M.Eng.) is a plus. Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in the development of optoelectronic, photonic, or microelectronic assembly processes. Experience in the characterization and optimization of active and passive optical alignment processes is a plus. Experience with fiber-optic systems. Experience in technical interactions with customers is a plus. Skills: Knowledge of high-precision optical alignment techniques (fibers, lasers, photonic devices). Understanding of the fundamentals of photonics and measurement methods (insertion loss, polarization, optical modes). Use and programming of automated or semi-automated assembly equipment. Ability to analyze experimental data, including a basic knowledge of statistics, to optimize processes. Strong technical documentation skills. Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written), as our clients are international. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills when working with multidisciplinary teams and industrial clients. Attention to detail, autonomy, and a sense of initiative. WHY JOIN C2MI?
