The City of Vancouver seeks a Senior Engineer for the Sewer Utility Programs & Investigations team. You will provide operational leadership for sewer system investigations and pollution prevention initiatives. This role also includes guiding a multidisciplinary team and fostering stakeholder relationships, thereby ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead sewer utility programs and initiatives • Direct inflow and infiltration investigation efforts • Oversee regulatory compliance and yard waste permits • Represent sewer utility with external partners • Manage team performance and development processes
Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering • Minimum six years in municipal infrastructure • Qualified Engineering designation in BC • Supervisory experience with engineers and technicians • Program management knowledge is a plus
