**Come help build the future, where our work makes the world work!****SUMMARY**GIP is seeking an experienced **Senior Planner/Scheduler** to support a portfolio of major highway and bridge construction projects across Ontario. Reporting to the Director, Planning, you will play a key role in developing, monitoring, and analyzing multiple schedules active projects at any given time and serve as a trusted planning advisor to project management and operations teams.This position is ideal for a planner who is confident working independently, enjoys collaborating with operations teams, and can provide practical scheduling solutions in a fast-paced construction environment.**PRIMARY SCOPE OF ROLE*** Develop and maintain resource-loaded project schedules in Primavera P6.* Support projects from tender through construction and project closeout.* Analyze project schedules, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend mitigation strategies.* Monitor critical path activities, schedule performance, and forecast completion dates.* Review subcontractor schedules and ensure alignment with project objectives.* Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and estimating teams to develop realistic construction plans and sequencing.* Prepare schedule updates, forecasts, and progress reporting for project teams and senior leadership.* Support schedule impact assessments, recovery planning,
and change management initiatives.* Contribute to planning best practices and mentor junior scheduling staff when required.**POSITION REQUIREMENTS*** 8+ years of planning and scheduling experience in heavy civil, transportation, or infrastructure construction.* Experience delivering highway, bridge, or major civil construction projects.* Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6.* Strong understanding of CPM scheduling, construction sequencing, resource planning, and schedule analysis.* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.* Valid G driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites throughout Ontario.**WHAT WE OFFER*** Expected Base Salary: $85 000 - $115 000 per year.
