Production Worker – Food Industry

Location: Saint-Jérôme, QC
Salary: $17.50/hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

DESCRIPTION

Agence de Placement Trésor Inc. is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a growing small and medium-sized business in the food industry located in Saint-Jérôme, for a Production Worker who is detail-oriented, energetic and reliable.

The selected candidate will participate in various stages of food production and packaging while helping maintain high standards of quality, efficiency, cleanliness and food safety.

Full on-site training will be provided.

DUTIES

- Participate in filling, packaging, labelling and sealing products;
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of production rooms;
- Complete production documents and records accurately;
- Assist with the management and monitoring of raw material inventory;
- Clean and sanitize equipment, surfaces and work areas;
- Maintain a clean work environment that complies with sanitation and food safety standards;




- Work closely with the production team to ensure efficient and smooth operations;
- Assist the cook with recipe preparation;
- Handle and move raw materials and finished products;
- Perform other related production duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to read and write in French;
- Ability to lift and handle loads of up to 25 kg (55 lb);
- Strong teamwork skills;
- Detail-oriented, organized and thorough;
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment;
- Reliable, punctual and responsible;
- Previous experience in food processing or food production is considered an asset.
