This role requires a solid background in avionics system design and compliance to ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations including FAA and EASA. You will oversee the development of wiring diagrams, installation drawings, and actively support testing campaigns. Your expertise will also involve mentoring junior engineers and managing certification processes efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead avionics design and integration for STC development • Develop certification deliverables like wiring diagrams • Support compliance demonstration activities for avionics systems • Prepare Instructions for Continued Airworthiness documentation • Manage simultaneous STC programs across multiple platforms
Requirements: • Engineering degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering • Minimum 3+ years of avionics certification experience • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility • Strong knowledge of TCCA airworthiness regulations • Willingness to travel as required
