Are you passionate about customer service and creating a welcoming experience for others? We're looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commissary Associate to help support our Employee Commissary operations. In this role, you'll play a key part in providing excellent service, managing inventory, and ensuring our commissary remains organized, well-stocked, and running smoothly.
Job Status: Permanent Part-Time
Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Work Location: Onsite
Hourly Range: $22.50/hr - $24.00/hr
In this role, you will:
- Deliver outstanding customer service by providing product knowledge and assisting employees and guests with their purchases.
- Process sales transactions accurately through the point-of-sale system and handle a variety of payment methods.
- Monitor inventory levels, complete cycle counts, and ensure inventory records remain accurate across Shopify, Syspro, and related systems.
- Coordinate product shipments to staff outside the Coquitlam area and collaborate with internal departments to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Merchandise current products, maintain commissary displays, and support the management of discounted short-dated and damaged inventory.
You have:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a frontline customer service role.
- At least 1 year of experience using retail POS systems and e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent English verbal and write communication skills.
- Experience or knowledge within the health industry, as well as Syspro experience, considered strong assets.
