As a dedicated Skills Coach, you'll implement tailored programs for children and youth, leading skill development and creating a fun learning environment. This role involves mentoring Support Workers and Volunteers under supervision, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for participants. Our team is committed to enhancing lives through specialized coaching methods and fulfilling recreational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop organized lesson plans to match curriculum • Adapt activities using autism-informed coaching methods • Foster a positive and enjoyable learning environment • Collaborate with Onsite Supervisors for participant success • Ensure smooth operation and timely sessions
Requirements: • Minimum 1 year of coaching experience • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR-C Certification • Must skate forwards and backwards for skating programs • Provide clear references and pass a criminal record check • Enthusiastic and punctual approach to coaching
