This role supports Ericsson's Ottawa Radio Project Management Office (PMO) by overseeing the end-to-end purchase order lifecycle for procurement activities tied to PMO-driven product development projects. The successful candidate ensures that requests are processed accurately, vendors are followed up with proactively, payments are completed on time, and purchase orders are closed in full compliance with Ericsson's policies and financial controls.
This is an experienced, on-site position based in Ottawa, Canada. Manage the full purchase order lifecycle - from initial request intake through vendor follow-up, payment confirmation, and final closure Process purchase orders for a range of procurement activities supporting PMO-driven product development projects Collaborate with Project Managers, Program Managers, Trade Compliance, Strategic Sourcing, Accounts Payable, and internal or external vendors Track purchase order status, delivery progress, invoices, payment timelines, and outstanding aging items Maintain accurate procurement records, supporting documentation, and audit-ready evidence Ensure all purchase order activities comply with Ericsson's procurement processes, financial controls, delegation of authority, and audit requirements Prepare clear status updates, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and management reports using Excel and Power BI Support project financial tracking, planning,
and operational reporting for PMO-related procurement activities Identify opportunities to improve procurement visibility, cycle-time predictability, and process consistency Diploma or undergraduate degree in business, finance, supply chain, operations, commerce, or a related field ~5-10 years of experience in purchase order management, procurement operations, vendor administration, accounts payable support, or a comparable role ~ Experience in project-based, engineering, R&D;, telecommunications, or global business environments is considered an asset ~ Working knowledge of SAP-based procurement and financial processes is preferred ~ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting ~ Strong Power BI skills for building dashboards, tracking metrics, and enhancing procurement visibility ~ Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and bring tasks to resolution If you need assistance or to request an accommodation due to a disability, please contact Ericsson at hr.direct.Job Stage: Job Stage 4 The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
