Babcock is currently recruiting for an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) to be based in on our Prince Rupert British Columbia facility.



All AMEs will be responsible to Crew Chief for the completion of the maintenance and repair tasks assigned to them.

All while ensuring compliance with Babcock Canada’s Policies and Procedures and the Canadian Aviation regulations. Maintain, adjust, modify, test, diagnose, and repair AW169 aircraft. Work with specialized aviation and power tools, computers, and diagnostic equipment.

Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks. Keep timely and accurate records of the repair and maintenance activities that were conducted. Use the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for tasks/jobs. Conduct aircraft cleaning duties of interior and exterior (excluding medical biohazards).

Work efficiently alone and as part of a team. Read, understand, and adhere to the Safety & Health Policy Statement, Company Occupational Health & Safety Manual, Company Policies and Procedures, and the MPM.

Experience working on a rotary-wing asset, ideally on Leonardo Helicopters AW-Family aircraft, in particular, the AW169. Demonstrated experience working on CAMP or other similar maintenance programs. Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

The ability and willingness to undertake shift work. Eligibility for an Airport Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) The right to work in Canada and/or have or can obtain a Canadian passport.
