As a Site Foreman, you will support the Site Superintendent in managing on-site construction activities. This hands-on leadership role requires solid communication and problem-solving skills, along with a solid foundation in technical construction practices. You will coordinate workforce activities, enforce safety regulations, and guarantee the highest quality standards, ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities: • Communicate daily with trades and workforce • Coordinate site activities among subcontractors and suppliers • Conduct site safety orientations and weekly meetings • Enforce OHS and York's Health and Safety Program • Maintain field documentation and conduct daily inspections
Requirements: • Minimum 1 year in a similar role • Experience in light industrial and commercial projects • Leadership for Safety Excellence certification • Fall protection and forklift experience required • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
