This full-time Licensed Automotive Technician role is an on-site position based at Volkswagen Unionville in Markham, ON.
The technician will diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs on Volkswagen vehicles, following manufacturer standards and dealership procedures. Day-to-day tasks include completing scheduled services,
conducting inspections, performing mechanical and electrical repairs, and documenting work performed in repair orders. The technician is also expected to maintain a clean, safe work area, use appropriate diagnostic tools, and support continuous improvement in service quality and customer satisfaction.
Strong skills in vehicle maintenance and general maintenance & repair, with the ability to follow manufacturer specifications. Proficiency in routine service work such as oil changes and related preventative maintenance procedures. Solid experience in automotive repair, including troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
Valid automotive technician license (e.g., Experience working in a dealership or professional repair facility; Volkswagen or European brand experience is an asset. Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical bulletins, and to use modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
