Role Description The Automotive Service Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based at Promotive Service Centre in Brampton, ON. This position is responsible for greeting clients, understanding their vehicle concerns, and documenting service requests clearly and accurately.

The Service

Advisor coordinates with technicians to schedule and prioritize vehicle maintenance and repair work, provides detailed estimates, and explains recommended services in accessible language. Day-to-day tasks include managing work orders, updating customers on the status of their vehicles, ensuring timely completion of services, and supporting a high level of customer satisfaction. The role also involves processing payments,



maintaining service records, and contributing to a clean, organized, and safety-focused service environment.

Qualifications

- Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to build trust and handle inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Basic understanding of Vehicle Maintenance and Automotive Repair to explain services and collaborate effectively with technicians.
- Explicit and confident Communication skills, both verbal and written, to document work orders and explain technical information in an accessible way.
- Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple vehicles and service requests simultaneously.
- Prior experience in an automotive service environment or related customer-facing role is an asset.
- Comfort working on-site in a busy service centre environment and using service management or point-of-sale software.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional automotive or customer service training or certifications are considered an advantage.
