Community Infrastructure Frobisher Depot Permanent Position Union Affiliation: CUPE 4705 Outside Unit Hours of Work: 80 hours bi-weekly Shift Work Required: Shift work may be required Rate of Pay: $32.33 per hour Main Function: Perform the duties of a bricklayer. Under the supervision of a Foreperson. Lay brick, concrete block, building stone or shaped tile in the construction and maintenance of sewers, manholes, catchbasins, valve chambers, retaining walls or building walls.

NOTE: This classification automatically converts to a Winter Control Position for the Winter Control Period in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Education and Training ~ Minimum of three years (3) experience as a Bricklayer. Must be able to work without direct supervision and carry out all work required in the construction of brick and block manholes, catch basins, valve chambers or retaining walls. Crew Cards. Excellent use of English; verbally and in writing.
