Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates: Post-graduate degree, preferably in Material Science or Engineering. PhD in the domain of battery material science would be an asset . Significant and recent experience in developing partnerships for research, development and deployment of clean technologies in the Canadian marketplace, preferably within the context of a federal funding organization.

Significant and recent experience in developing and commercializing energy storage technologies, preferably within a private sector organization. Significant experience in communicating both verbally and in writing technology business opportunities to potential and existing clients.

Experience supporting and leading business-related activities within an industrial or research organization. Proven record of success in analyzing market dynamics and translating this into business opportunities with key prospects and accounts. Demonstrated ability to meet stakeholder engagement objectives,



outreach or marketing targets through opportunities which are aligned with strategic goals and that have had significant impact for the organization.

Knowledge of the Canadian innovation landscape, including leading players (companies, academic institutions, granting agencies) in critical mineral and battery energy storage supply chains would be considered an asset.
