Daily Resident Care

Record, resident progress notes,



initiating medication incident reports, servery documentation and audits, incident reports etc Collaborates with the resident and other members of the interdisciplinary team in the development of individualized Resident Care Plan Assists in the planning and implementation of resident leisure activities daily Performs delegated nursing acts according to company policy and scope of practice Communicates and reports relevant information regarding resident care or safety to Supervisor In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring: Completion of Continuing Care Assistant program or equivalency according to the CCA Entry to Practice Policy You are registered in Nova Scotia’s CCA registry as per the Continuing Care Assistants Registry Act For more information on how to become a certified CCA in Nova Scotia: ca/careers/education-options/recognize-prior-learning/ Successful candidates will be required to obtain a clear Criminal Record Check, and where applicable, a Vulnerable Sector Check, prior to appointment. You can work a schedule of flexible schedule and shifts inclusive of days, nights, weekends, and holidays Completed Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care course considered an asset Knowledge of infection prevention and control practices Knowledge of principles of personal care including bathing, oral hygiene Electronic Health Care Records) A completed Back in Form Lift & Transfer Program is considered an asset Bilingualism in French/English is considered an asset Previous working experience with elderly in long-term care or a senior living environment an asset A passion for the healthcare sector and/or ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services and care #
