Zurich Canada is currently looking for a Claims Vendor Management Senior Specialist to administer and optimize contracts with external vendors in line with Zurich’s Claims Management strategy. Reporting to the Head of Claims, TPA & Vendor Management, you will act as the primary interface between vendors and Zurich, ensuring company requirements are met, vendor performance is optimized and high‑quality, competitively priced vendor solutions are delivered. You will support strategies to enhance vendor service performance and cost efficiency across the Claims organization and seek out new vendors to meet evolving business needs.

Canada uses artificial intelligence–enabled tools to support certain aspects of the recruitment process, including the initial review and screening of applications. Artificial intelligence is not the sole basis for candidate shortlisting or selection. Zurich follows a hybrid work model requiring three days per week of in-person presence, which may include time in the office or market-facing engagements.
Manage and source Claims vendors within agreed authority levels, working closely with the procurement function. Ensure quality and delivery of service level agreements by auditing and tracking vendors within your area of responsibility. Track and report metrics to monitor performance against agreed service levels and manage Claims vendor performance issues.
Participate in vendor performance reviews and meetings with new and/or potential vendors, driving continuous improvement in customer experience and cost savings. Seek opportunities to eliminate redundancies and leakage across the Claims organization. Adhere to the Global Claims Policy in the development and management of vendor agreements.
Monitor competitor activity to help maintain competitive advantage and ensure vendors are managed in line with industry standards and best practices. Bachelor’s Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Vendor Management area High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Vendor Management area Experience managing external business relationships and performance Experience managing projects or teams At Zurich Canada, we are committed to pay equity.

This range reflects the expected pay for the role across Canada and may vary depending on factors like office location, specific responsibilities, and individual qualifications. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable compensation range, but starting salaries may exceed this range based on a candidate’s skills and experience.
