- Assisting with program information and registration
- Escalating issues to Lead Customer Service Representative, Supervisor or Manager as necessary
- Communicating in a friendly and courteous manner when answering phones, transferring calls, and taking messages
- Maintaining a clean, supplied and organized member service desk
- Attending all training sessions
- Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in membership service, customer service, or retail
- Ability to handle difficult situations and customer concerns with confidence
- Strong computer proficiency; preference given to those with experience in CLASS, Fusion, EZ Facility, Salesforce and Slack software
- Knowledge of University of Toronto Scarborough Campus (UTSC) and City of Toronto computer applications, policies and procedures preferred
- Successful candidate(s) must be available to work daily shifts between the hours of 4:45 am to 12:00 am including weekends. The 312,000-square-foot Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre includes two internationally sanctioned 10-lane, 50-metre pools, a world-class dive pool and dryland dive-training facilities, a four-court gymnasium, an indoor running track, studio spaces, and a state-of-the-art fitness centre. Here, you’ll find the offices of several national and provincial sport organizations, including the Canadian Sport Institute Ontario Head Office (CSIO). In addition to housing the head office space, CSIO provides best-in-class facilities and services that elevate high-performance athletes and performance.
