Community Health

Nurse - Nursing Station Contract: Permanent Part time – 37.5 hours per week, we offer 2,3,and 4 week rotations Nursing Station Bargaining Unit: PIPSC BCFNHA Group (Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada) Health Spending Account: $1,100 Extensive Health and Dental Benefits: Offered day 1 of employment Robust Pension Plan As the Community Health Nurse, you will work in an expanded scope of practice to provide primary care, public health, health promotion, and emergency care for First Nations individuals, families, and communities, including after hours on-call care. A bachelor's degree in nursing.



Current registration with British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).

Current CPR course for Health Care Providers (HCP).

Valid

Class 5 Driver's license. Knowledge of nursing processes. FNHA Community Health Nurses must have or are working towards Remote Certification (RNC) and can live anywhere in Canada. If you are currently not Remote Certified, speak with us today on how we can help you obtain your RNC, with extensive training, travel and salary paid for while you’re pursuing your certification.

Primary care, disease and injury prevention, health protection, curative, urgent and emergent care, medical / surgical, rehabilitation and supportive or palliative care.

Pension plan with an employer contribution of 9.31% after eligibility period Access to group health benefits and a Health Care Spending Account through Canada Life on day 1 of employment The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full time equivalent hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
