Benefits team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll within a fast-paced, federally regulated, and unionized environment. You excel at managing multiple priorities, interpreting complex information, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Process payroll accurately and in compliance with internal policies, collective agreements, and CRA legislation. Partner closely with HR, Operations, and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and provide guidance. Participate in, and at times lead, process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance payroll efficiency. Maintain thorough, organized documentation and uphold the highest standards of data integrity and confidentiality. Robust knowledge of CRA legislation and established payroll best practices.



Advanced proficiency in payroll software and Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis). Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to translate payroll concepts clearly to employees and leaders.

Payroll Compliance

Professional (PCP) designation is required. Minimum 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably in a unionized and/or federally regulated environment. Demonstrated experience supporting process improvements or system enhancements.
