The ideal candidate will be responsible for all operational and financial aspects of properties, including budget control, tenant relations and maintenance requests.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of assigned residential properties
Serve as primary point of contact for tenants and residents
Supervise and support superintendents and site staff
Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital projects
Respond to tenant issues, complaints, and emergencies
Ensure compliance with applicable residential tenancy legislation
Manage vendor relationships and oversee contractors
Conduct regular property inspections
Prepare and manage operating budgets
Review invoices, approve expenses, and control costs
Maintain accurate tenant, lease, and property records
Support leasing, move-ins, and move-outs as required
Qualifications
3+ years of property experience
At least 1 year in a supervisory or management role
Solid knowledge of residential tenancy regulations
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple buildings and priorities effectively
Experience supervising site staff and contractors
Comfortable handling conflict and sensitive tenant matters
Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; travel to multiple communities required within the same region
