Make a difference in early childhood care with SOURCES as an Infant Development Consultant in Newton. Support families and children through community-based developmental services until March 31, 2027.
SOURCES is looking for an Infant Development Consultant who holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or child care. This role offers 35 hours per week, engaging directly with families of children aged birth to three years. Responsibilities include assessing developmental needs and providing home visits and outreach services tailored to family-centered philosophies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct and indirect services for assigned caseload • Assist families in identifying child and family needs • Support access to appropriate materials and resources • Maintain accurate client files and documentation • Foster a safe and welcoming setting addressing discrimination
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or similar • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and own vehicle • Commitment to ongoing learning and skill advancement • Strong understanding of community-based, family-centered services • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
