As a Dietary Aide at AgeCare, you will assist in all aspects of meal service under the direction of the Dietary Manager. Your main duties include preparing, serving, and cleaning up meals while maintaining a hygienic dining area. Solid customer service skills and a compassionate approach are essential in this role, which focuses on enhancing the dining experience for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve meals courteously to residents and guests
• Prepare beverages, salads, and desserts for service
• Set and clear tables, providing tray service as needed




• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
• Support catering events and training of new dietary staff
Requirements:
• Food Handler's Certificate is mandatory
• Experience in food service preferable, especially with seniors
• Enrollment in Food Service Worker Training Program
• Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check required
