The Toronto District School
Board is seeking a Disability Case Administrator for a 12-month acting position within their People and Culture department. Candidates must possess strong claims adjudication and case management skills. You will analyze medical information, manage short-term disability claims, and liaise with various stakeholders throughout the disability management process. Key Responsibilities:
- Adjudicate short-term leave disability claims efficiently
- Facilitate early interventions and case management plans
- Maintain regular contact with employees and medical providers
- Develop return to work plans and strategies
- Update claims information in the disability management system
Requirements:
- University degree in Health Sciences or related field
- Three years of relevant disability case management experience
- Knowledge of WSIA and Human Rights Code
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
