As the successful candidate, you will support electrical engineering and design activities for industrial projects, including electrical, controls and instrumentation systems.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and designers on a variety of projects from concept through construction and commissioning. Support electrical engineering and design for industrial plants and process projects

- Assist with power distribution, motor control centers, single line diagrams, equipment layouts, cable and conduit routing, grounding and lighting layouts
- Assist with instrumentation and controls design, including PLC/DCS systems, control panels and loop drawings
- Prepare electrical calculations,



cable schedules, load lists and other engineering deliverables
- Assist with preparation and review of engineering drawings and documentation
- Review vendor drawings and technical documentation
- Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, clients and contractors
- Provide support during construction and commissioning
- Participate in site visits and project meetings as required. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; ~ Registered or eligible for registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) ; ~0–4 years of relevant electrical engineering experience; ~ Experience in an industrial, consulting, plant and/or construction environment is an asset; ~ Familiarity with AutoCAD, EasyPower and/or ETAP is an asset; ~ Knowledge of electrical power distribution, controls, PLC, DCS and HMI systems is an asset; ~ Understanding of applicable electrical codes and industry practices; ~ Solid problem-solving and technical skills; ~ Flexible work schedule and location Comprehensive health and dental benefits and RRSP matching Employee Assistance Program Opportunities to participate in social, safety and community initiatives
