Become an essential part of LWDH as a full-time Prevention Support Worker. Engage in client support throughout their recovery journey during flexible day/night shifts. Reporting to the Manager of Morningstar Centre, this role focuses on the admission, care, and discharge processes for clients.

As a Prevention Support Worker, you will facilitate change and support effective transitions through group work and coordination across programs, enhancing client experiences throughout their recovery. Key Responsibilities:

- Attend to client admissions and discharges
- Provide support during recovery journeys
- Assist in group work and care transitions
- Collaborate with service providers for effective care
- Record observations and document client progress

Requirements:

- Diploma in addictions or social services
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- WHMIS and CPI training completion
- Experience with vulnerable populations
- Critical thinking and crisis intervention skills

This role requires effective communication and a non-judgmental approach to foster cooperative relationships with clients and team members.
