Health, we’re not hoping for a renaissance, we are making it happen. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our Speech Language Pathology team.

Temporary

Full-time Duration (if contract): Hours of Work: Monday - Friday Day Shift Hourly Rate: $44.67 - $57.90 Ensure a high standard of patient care in accordance with Speech-Language Pathology policies and procedures. Assess, treat, and manage referred patients with acute medical needs within the Medicine Program, including the ICU and Emergency Department, with additional coverage in the Surgery, Stroke, and Post‑Acute Programs as required.



Provide clinical care to adults with dysphagia and communication disorders in an acute care setting.

Participate in discharge planning in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members, including completing required applications for external resources. Record workload measurement data accurately and in a timely manner. Provide consultation to other disciplines within the physical medicine area.

Serve as a clinical supervisor for Speech-Language Pathology students. Provide coverage across multiple sites, including the Wilson and Reactivation Care Centres (Finch and Church locations). Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent.

Experience in a hospital setting preferred. An understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion principles as they relate to health practices is an asset.
