JLL is seeking an Operations Lead for a prominent energy client in Sarnia. The Lead will advise and act as Foreman for maintenance staff and contractors, as well as be hands on to some of the maintenance work. Supervisory duties include some administration for the team and site as well management reporting.
The ideal candidate is comfortable in aspects of site administration and overall maintenance activities. Supervises and directs maintenance staff and monitors performance of assigned responsibilities Performs and/or directs the performance of all maintenance departmental service requests, ensuring that work performed in these areas is accomplished efficiently with a minimum amount of disruption and inconvenience. Ensure that work performed in client space is accomplished with a minimum of disruption and is followed by adequate cleanupPerform/supervise maintenance, monitoring repairs to the Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Furniture, Fire,
for the facility to keep facility and building systems up to applicable standards as assigned Evaluate vendors and suppliers on a regular basis with regard to quality and competitive pricing Perform periodic checks of tool and instrument inventory Monitor the quality and pricing of maintenance work performed by outside contractors 5+ years of maintenance operations experience in an industrial setting ~ Supervisory experience for team members and contractors ~ Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel ~ Certified Electrician, HVAC technician or other trade or an engineering degree is an asset.
