The Position: Health and Safety Coordinator Type: Full time Reports To: Health and Safety Manager Wright Canada Holdings is a prominent leader in several environmental services industries, representing our family of companies across Canada and is comprised of Spectrum Resource Group, Wright Tree Service of Canada, ArborCare® and CNUC of Canada. Lead by example in promoting a safe work environment by consistently adhering to and reinforcing the company's safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. Provide daily support, guidance, and coaching to employees and supervisors to ensure a consistent and effective implementation of the Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) program. Deliver employee safety orientations, coordinate emergency response training, and organize both internal and external training sessions for operational staff.

Support the development and maintenance of Site Preparedness and Emergency Response Plans and related procedures. Assist in conducting joint field audits, providing recommendations to Operations and Support Services management for continuous improvement. Support managers in identifying training needs and conducting gap analyses across all contracts to ensure workforce competency.

Perform regular field visits throughout the year,



with an expectation of increased site presence during peak operational periods. Some travel and overnight stays may be required. Oversee and facilitate safety onboarding processes for subcontractors, ensuring alignment with company safety standards.

Strong understanding of applicable safety legislation and regulations in British Columbia and Alberta. ~ Formal training in incident investigation and root cause analysis. ~ NCSO (National Construction Safety Officer) certification is preferred. ~ Experience with return-to-work and disability management programs considered an asset. ~ Class 5 drivers license and abstract with less than 6 demerits. ~ A safety conscious attitude. ~ Punctuality, dependability, and accountability in the field.
