Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: Finning is looking for a dedicated Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic to support our customers throughout Saskatchewan. If you are a customer focused Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic; Wage: $42.62 - $51.57 - Additional $5.00 Field premium - Additional $3.50 Field premium ~ Paid Time Off in Year 1: Vacation, sick and 7 days flex time ~5.75% Employer paid pension, plus up to 1% additional ~100% Employer paid medical benefits ~ CAT certified training: Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations). Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.

Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements.

Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment

Certification (Agriculture, Truck & Transport and Automotive will also be considered). Valid class 5 drivers license with a successful driver's abstract. Solid experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems.

Transmission or Hydraulic testing knowledge. Previous gas engine and power generation experience is an asset. Previous customer experience would be considered an asset.



A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable.
