We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Technician - Journeyperson to join our team with supporting Prince George, Williams Lake, Terrace and the Yukon.

You may need to work under pressure while maintaining a strong focus on quality service.

As well, you could be working in remote areas with limited access to technical support or working in extreme weather conditions – hot, cold, raining, snowing, greasy and dusty. The pace can be fast, the hours can be long during busy cycles and you may also need to work overtime. You will also realize that you need to recharge regularly – we insist that you take your vacation time! ~ You’re going to get to know your customers, their equipment, and their business.





You’ll build rapport and trust and you’ll be able to provide information and solutions to keep your customers up and running. ~ Report customer satisfaction, trends and other useful information to your service supervisor. Develop rapport with customers and be the eyes and ears of the branch; Listen actively and perform competence analysis of apprentice technicians. Identify areas for them to improve and provide on the job training to assist in their development. ~ This is a detail-oriented position and you have already developed personal systems for organizing your work, ensuring you are prepared with information, parts and specialty tooling prior to attending a worksite.

As our Heavy Equipment Technician, you’ll play an integral role in performing major diagnostics and major repairs and servicing all equipment in fleet with minimal supervision. You are responsible for providing the highest quality of service and complying with the company’s established policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for developing and coaching apprentices.

This position is dedicated to special projects and offers flexibility in location, allowing the successful candidate to be based anywhere in British Columbia or the Yukon.
