Job Description
Allied Universal is seeking Security Guard – Pharmaceutical Site in North York, ON.
Location: North York, ON (close to Dufferin and Steeles)
Pay Rate: $20.58/hour
Shift: Various/ Swing Rotation
Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s License with a clean driving record required
Site Requirement – Vaccination
Due to the high-profile pharmaceutical workplace, selected candidates will be required to provide proof of vaccination for the following:
- Diphtheria
- Pertussis
- Tetanus
- Flu
Provincial coverage applies where available. Any additional costs associated with the vaccination process will be covered by Allied Universal.

Allied Universal is currently hiring experienced Security Professionals for a high-profile pharmaceutical client in North York, ON.
The ideal candidate is a polished and reliable professional with strong communication skills, the ability to work rotating shifts, and experience in controlled-access or sensitive environments. This role requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively in dynamic situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor access control systems and CCTV
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility (foot and vehicle)
- Maintain a strong security presence in a high-profile environment
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, management, and security teams
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm and efficient manner
- Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate logs
- Ensure smooth shift transitions and consistent site coverage
- Perform site inspections to uphold strict security standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or relevant work experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a hospital, corporate office, or similar high-security environment
- Must be 25 years of age or older (company vehicle insurance requirement)
