Registered Veterinary Technician

Responsible for processing, dispensing, and record keeping of orders containing Medically Important Antimicrobial (MIA), Biologics, and other prescription drug products that are being shipped directly to a remote dispensing location. Act under delegation and supervision of a prescribing veterinarian at all times while dispensing. Review documentation, including, scripts and orders, that request prescription drug and biologic products to be shipped to a remote dispensing location.

Verify completeness of documentation and compliance with the CVO regulations. Process remote dispensing orders. Maintain and complete medical and dispensing records. Assist with documentation and investigation of deviations or complaints related to processing orders and dispensing of prescription drug products to remote dispensing locations.

Assist with Regulatory Compliance and/or Warehouse Worker duties, as required. Assist with processing-control substances and precursor orders under the supervision of the QPIC/AQPIC and RPIC/ARPIC, respectively. Health & Safety Works in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and follows VP’s policies and procedures Participates in health and safety training, meetings,

Qualified Registered Veterinary
