Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner is a trusted advisor to business and executive leaders.

You will translate business priorities into practical people strategies across workforce planning, employee relations, talent, organizational effectiveness and change. You will bring sound judgment, courage and a people-first approach—confidently coaching and challenging leaders while remaining close enough to the business to turn strategy into meaningful action. Build trusted relationships with business and executive leaders, providing strategic advice, coaching and constructive challenge.

Lead complex employee-relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, conflict resolution and terminations. Partner with leaders on workforce planning, talent reviews, succession planning,



performance management and employee engagement. Support organizational change, restructures and workforce transitions with empathy, clarity and appropriate risk management.

Interpret employment legislation, company policies and HR best practices to guide fair, consistent decisions. Use workforce data and insights to identify trends, strengthen talent decisions and improve organizational effectiveness. Develop thoughtful change and communication strategies that help employees and leaders navigate business transformation.

Partner with Talent Acquisition and hiring leaders to support workforce needs and an inclusive, candidate-focused recruitment experience. Contribute to HR programs, policies, communications and process improvements that strengthen the employee experience. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

Three to five years of progressive HR experience, including meaningful employee-relations and HR business-partnering responsibilities. Demonstrated experience directly supporting, advising and influencing executive leaders within an HR role. Strong working knowledge of Canadian employment legislation and employee-relations practices.

Experience coaching leaders through complex, sensitive and high-impact people decisions. Strong communication,



relationship-building and influencing skills.

Assets

French-language capability.
