We are seeking a Journeyman HVAC Technician for a 14/14 FIFO rotation from Calgary or Edmonton starting September 9th 2026. The HVAC Technician supports the delivery of safe, high-quality work with a strong focus on client satisfaction, attention to detail, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems at a SAGD facility, including office buildings and process plant units Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC equipment and systems Troubleshoot and repair heating, cooling, ventilation, and control system issues Conduct inspections and testing to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency Follow all site safety procedures, regulations, and company standards Collaborate with site personnel to support protected and efficient operations Journeyperson HVAC/Refrigeration Technician (Red Seal preferred) Gas Fitting ticket and asset Experience maintaining and troubleshooting commercial and industrial HVAC systems in oil sands, SAGD, gas plant, or other industrial environments.

Experience or familiarity with power plants, gas plants, or industrial facilities. Strong understanding of HVAC controls, building automation systems (BAS), heating systems, air handling units, and refrigeration equipment. Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical manuals. Able to use test and calibration equipment and common hand tools.

Valid

Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract. Physically capable of working in industrial environments, including climbing ladders, lifting equipment,



and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and call outs, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction Must be able to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test and fit-for-duty requirements.
