Identify strategic customers, projects, and key decision-makers, and mobilize internal resources to support business opportunities. Develop and manage the commercial pipeline in CRM and deliver agreed financial and non-financial targets. Build and maintain senior-level relationships with existing and prospective customers. Independently plan customer visits and travel based on account priorities and business needs. Technical & Customer Solutions Provide technical expertise, product training, and application support to customers. Develop coating specifications, technical reports, surveys, and presentations. Conduct technical inspections and audits at customer locations. Identify, prevent, and resolve technical issues and manage complex customer complaints. Keep customers informed of relevant product developments, applications, and emerging technologies.
Develop and deliver presentations for customer meetings, conferences, seminars, and trade shows. Strengthen customer relationships through ongoing business and industry engagement. Communicate key account activities, opportunities, and issues to Sales Management. Travel with customers, when appropriate, to evaluate new technologies and applications. Operate independently within established functional, commercial, and operational business guidelines. Minimum 5 years of experience in the coatings industry, preferably heavy industrial or marine. Minimum 3 years of sales or marketing experience, preferably in industrial coatings, materials, or a related industry. AMPP, NACE, FROSIO Coating Inspector certification, or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant additional work experience will also be considered. Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage customers, peers, and all levels of management. Effective coaching, training, and knowledge-sharing skills Ability to read and understand technical instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, email, and electronic reporting. Travel &
Physical Requirements Ability to travel more than 30% of the time, including the ability to travel to the United States. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends. Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) at customer locations.
