Location(s) Building Other Building Other Building Main Campus Category of work Full Time Bargaining Unit Faculty Association Temporary Market Stipend $520.83 Semi-Monthly Plan/facilitate the delivery of a learning program or course at all three levels within the Paramedic Programs including: providing tutorial, counselling assistance; evaluating course/program and result of teaching process;

Responsibilities may also include Practicum Coordination for both hospital and ambulance practicum sites. ~Develop and maintain community/agency partnerships.



~Participate in Program and School related initiatives. ~Establish and maintain external relationships with counterparts from other educational institutions, simulation lab professionals, vendors, representatives of the community, health industry and health education leaders, nationally and internationally. ~Completion of an ACP (advanced Care Paramedic) program from an approved school.

Valid Practicing

License with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics.

Current

Instructor level certification in International Trauma Life Support ( ITLS ) and Basic Life Support (Heart and Stroke Foundation).

Current

Provider level certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support ( ACLS ) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support ( PALS ) or Pediatric Education for Pre-hospital Professionals ( PEPP ). Understanding of an ability to apply basic principles and practices of adult education to assist learners with the required emergency health care knowledge and skills. Well developed interpersonal and communication skills including excellent written and oral presentation skills and an ability to develop and maintain productive working relations with instructors, program administrators, employers, students, other clients and the public.

Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
