Take the lead and we’ll give you the support you need to be at the top of your game. Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to identify IT needs and priorities.
Create and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Lead and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation. Provide guidance and support to team members, encouraging their professional growth.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure. Manage network and system administration, ensuring high availability and security. Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance, including servers, storage, and network devices.
Evaluate, select, and implement software applications that meet business requirements. Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for software procurement, licensing, and maintenance. Ensure software compliance and manage version control and upgrades.
Troubleshoot application issues and provide technical support to end-users. Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and standards.
Implement measures to safeguard the organization's IT assets and data.
Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing. Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and within budget. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and manage project resources.
Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business needs. Mitigate project risks and resolve issues to ensure successful project outcomes. Evaluate and select vendors and service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and maintenance agreements. Monitor vendor performance and adherence to SLAs. Manage relationships with vendors and resolve any contractual or operational issues.
Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance user skills and knowledge. Maintain a knowledge base and documentation for IT systems and processes.
Foster a customer-centric approach to IT support, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of user problems. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate IT-related risks. Stay updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting IT operations. Collaborate with business units and stakeholders to understand their IT needs and challenges.
Communicate IT initiatives, projects, and changes to relevant stakeholders. Provide regular updates on IT activities, performance, and upcoming initiatives to senior management. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or a related field. ~8 to 10+ years’ of proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services. ~ Proficient in computer applications and interface, and IT security. ~ Leadership and Project Management skills. ~ Financial Services including mutual funds knowledge would be an asset. ~ Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. ~ Experience implementing and maintaining APIs would be an asset. ~ Versatile working hours.

Salary ranges from CAD $110,000.00 – CAD $120,000.00 plus additional discretionary yearly bonus based on corporate and individual's performance.
