RoleIn this role you will Develop, enhance, and maintain application features using Java, Swift, and COTS (Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf) platforms.

Develop, enhance, and maintain application features usingJava,Swift, andCOTS (Commercial Off‑The‑Shelf)platforms. Work on enhancement requests, bug fixes, and performance optimization for existing applications. Implement integrations, APIs, and data flows between custom applications and COTS systems.

Collaborate with business analysts and architects to understand enhancement requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Perform unit testing, assist with system testing, and validate enhancements prior to release. Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent fixes.

Participate in code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and release planning activities. Develop technical documentation including design updates, configuration details, and deployment steps. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure enhancements meet performance, reliability, and security expectations.

Support deployment activities, patches, and release management for enhancement cycles. Provide ongoing support for application enhancements in a multi-team, agile delivery setting. 4+ years of hands‑on experience in application development with a focus onJava,Swift, or other object‑oriented programming languages. ~ Working knowledge of:Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Spring Boot)Swift and iOS development fundamentalsCOTS configuration and customizationREST APIs, JSON, XMLExperience integrating applications with third‑party or enterprise COTS systems. ~ Familiarity with relational databases (SQL)



and version control (Git). ~ Understanding of SDLC processes, agile methodologies, and DevOps concepts. ~ Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams. ~ Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) is an asset. ~ Provide afternoon‑shift coverage for enhancements, incidents, and release support, including clear end‑of‑day handoffs The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: CAD 65,000- CAD 135,000 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws. Paid time off based on employee grade (A-F), defined by policy: Vacation: 12-25 days, depending on grade, Company paid holidays, Personal Days, Sick LeaveMedical, dental, and vision coverage (or provincial healthcare coordination in Canada) Retirement savings plans (e.g., Life and disability insurance Employee assistance programs Other benefits as provided by local policy and eligibility Compensation (including bonuses, commissions, or other forms of incentive pay) is not considered earned, vested,
