We are looking for a Lab Technician 1 Microbiology - Fixed Term Contract in 4606 Canada Way, Burnaby, B.Perform sample preparation and procedures prior to analyses Perform some basic testing procedures Meet quality and TAT specifications required by the client and ensure samples are analyzed within holding time requirements Identify and communicate procedural non-conformances to Supervisor Employ proper laboratory techniques to minimize risk of mislabeling,



sample mix-up and cross contamination between samples and other materials Provide general laboratory support Update supervisor/manager workstation status including advance notification of any delays Support and comply with policies, Quality System and Health & Safety program Maintain training records and relevant qualifications Strong computer skills Laboratory Operations, Customer Service and Sample Logistics Departments Evaluating operational data.

Project Management: Overseeing operational projects. High level of work production in a fast-paced lab environment.
