- Advise and support the organization’s units and decision-making bodies on initiatives and activities related to legal affairs
- Analyze data, conduct studies, make recommendations and write reports
- Interpret laws and regulations, issue legal opinions, and prepare and validate rules, standards, policies, procedures, forms and agreements
- Diagnose issues, challenges and needs to determine target outcomes
- Prepare recommendations, solutions and action plans
- Represent the organization in court
- Draft pleadings, prepare witnesses, deliver oral arguments and negotiate the best possible terms
- Serve as a resource person for the unit, clients and partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience
- Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Knowledge of French is required
