Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical issues, including adjusting, aligning, and repairing power transmission systems, gearboxes, pumps, and fans Service compressed air and water piping systems Safely move large, heavy machine components using cranes, jacks, and hoists Install current equipment and piping systems Read and follow maintenance procedures for electrical and instrumentation equipment Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and service manuals Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable codes Perform regular housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean work area Collaborate with outside contractors and inspectors Maintain working relationships with coworkers, contractors, and customers Respond to and manage maintenance emergencies as required Perform other maintenance assignments and duties; work some overtime as necessary Proven experience in an industrial environment is a strong asset Technical knowledge of pumps, filters,
gearboxes and valves Functional computer skills for logging maintenance activities, tracking work orders, and accessing procedures Ability to work effectively outdoors across various weather conditions Availability and willingness to work rotating morning and afternoon shifts Demonstrates expertise in maintaining and repairing mechanical systems, including power transmission systems and pumps, while ensuring compliance with safety standards. Strong communication and organizational skills facilitate effective collaboration with contractors and departments.
