We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associates to join a busy cold-storage facility in Halifax. In this role, you will be responsible for picking and preparing dairy product orders using an electronic pallet jack, assisting with warehouse organization, and supporting general warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for picking orders of milk and dairy products using an electronic pallet jack, shrink-wrapping completed orders, and preparing products for shipment. You will assist with unloading and organizing incoming pallets, cleaning up damaged or spilled products, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment. General duties may also include sweeping, mopping, disposing of plastic wrapping, baling cardboard, and assisting with other warehouse tasks as required. Associates are expected to follow all workplace safety procedures,



use proper lifting techniques, and work efficiently in a cold-storage environment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a physically demanding warehouse setting. Candidates must be able to repetitively lift 30-35 lbs, remain on their feet for extended periods, and work comfortably in a cold-storage environment. Reliable transportation is required due to the evening shift times. Candidates must also have CSA-approved steel-toed boots, a reflective safety vest, and safety gloves. Previous warehouse or order-picking experience is considered an asset, but is not required. A strong commitment to workplace safety, following instructions, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment is essential.
