The Personal Support Worker (PSW) will provide personal care to assist clients in their daily activities and personal hygiene. The PSW will support the clients' physical, social and emotional needs in a secure manner, in accordance with the organization's resident-centred approach, complying with relevant government standards, residents' rights and the organizations mission and philosophy. Graduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalent Experience in long term care setting an asset Registration with Health and Supportive Care Providers Oversight Authority (HSCPOA) preferred.

Resident-centred care focus with strong customer service and interpersonal skills Behavioural management training (Gentle Persuasive Approach (GPA), U-First, CPI) an asset Computer literacy (Point Click Care, MS Office). Basic knowledge of Workday an asset. Ability to speak and converse in Chinese an asset Exposure to all resident care elements through regular resident contact.

Ability to work night shifts,



including weekends and short shifts. May be required to work an alternate shift(s) to meet operational needs (e.g., emergency, training, accommodation, etc.) This is a temporary part time position for 3 months.
