Full-Time or Part-Time Independent Contractor

We're recruiting Physiotherapists for a well-established sports and rehabilitation practice serving Burlington and the surrounding area. This isn't a traditional physiotherapy role built around simply treating whoever happens to walk through the door. The practice has established relationships with more than 30 sports teams and organizations, giving its clinicians the opportunity to work directly with athletes, become embedded within sporting communities and build a reputation that translates into a strong long‑term caseload. The clinic works with everyone from active recreational athletes to high-performance and professional competitors across soccer, volleyball, track and field, swimming, golf, hockey, baseball, lacrosse, motorsports and other sports. For a Physiotherapist who wants to build something, rather than simply fill a schedule, there is significant upside.

What makes this opportunity different

You will have access to an established sports network rather than having to build your practice entirely from scratch. Physiotherapists can be aligned with specific teams and organizations, allowing you to develop relationships with athletes, coaches and sporting communities over time.

As your practice grows, additional athletic therapy and support resources can be introduced so you can continue scaling your patient base while focusing on higher-value clinical work.

The clinic also provides administrative support, allowing practitioners to spend their time treating patients, developing relationships and building their practice rather than managing the administrative side of running one.

The patient population

- Sports injuries
- Musculoskeletal rehabilitation
- Active rehabilitation
- Return-to-sport programming
- Performance-focused care
- Injury prevention
- Manual and hands‑on treatment

- Long‑term recovery and performance

Compensation and earning potential

This is an independent‑contractor opportunity with a percentage‑based compensation structure.

The model is designed to reward practitioners as their production and caseload grow, with progressively stronger splits available as performance increases. Established Physiotherapists who build a strong schedule have the ability to earn six figures , with the owner indicating that this can be achievable at approximately 35 clinical hours per week for productive practitioners. Additional continuing‑education support is available as practitioners progress through production levels.

Schedule

The clinics currently operate: Monday to Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

There are currently no weekend requirements . Full‑time availability is preferred, although the clinic will consider strong part‑time Physiotherapists who can commit to consistent blocks of availability that allow a patient base to develop.

What we're looking for

We care much more about your mindset and potential than having a perfect résumé. You should be a registered Physiotherapist who:

- Is licensed or eligible for registration to practise physiotherapy in Ontario
- Genuinely enjoys treating an active and athletic population
- Wants to develop a significant clinical practice
- Is willing to become involved with sports teams and athletic organizations
- Values hands‑on, relationship‑based patient care

- Is curious and interested in continuing to develop clinically
- Takes ownership of patient outcomes and follow‑up
- Can establish consistent availability and build continuity with patients
- Is comfortable working independently within an established multidisciplinary environment
- Has robust communication and interpersonal skills
- Wants their income and professional opportunities to grow with their performance

Previous sports physiotherapy experience is an asset, but it is not essential .

If you have the right foundation, work ethic and interest in sports medicine, the clinic is prepared to provide mentorship and help you develop.

The longer‑term prospect

This can become considerably more than an independent‑contractor position. The organization is looking toward future expansion and wants to identify clinicians who can eventually take on greater responsibility as the business grows. For practitioners who demonstrate strong clinical performance, leadership ability and an entrepreneurial mindset, there may be opportunities to:

- Lead or develop a clinical location
- Mentor and oversee other clinicians
- Participate in future clinic expansion
- Build and manage sports partnerships
- Explore a potential long‑term ownership or equity path

This could be a particularly good fit if

You became a Physiotherapist because you enjoy sports, movement and helping people get back to doing what they love. You want access to athletes and teams. You want your earning potential to increase as your practice grows. You want to learn from experienced clinicians. And eventually, you may want the opportunity to lead or have ownership in something rather than remaining an associate forever. If that sounds like the direction you want your career to take, we'd like to speak with you!!
