As a Production Scheduler II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for supporting globally across the supply chain network to gather and manage information about our business's capacity to meet customer demand. As a Production Scheduler II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for supporting globally across the supply chain network to gather and manage information about our business's capacity to meet customer demand. You will report directly to our Sr Materials Management Manager, and you'll work out of our Mississauga, ON location.
In this role, you will impact the supply chain planning and execution process within the Aero business, helping to create and maintain a valid master schedule for material and capacity by effectively balancing supply and demand.
Production
Planning & Scheduling Develop and maintain detailed production schedules to meet demand forecasts, customer orders, and inventory strategies. Balance labor, equipment capacity, and material availability when creating schedules. Coordinate with Manufacturing and Materials teams to adjust schedules based on priority changes, downtime, or constraints.
Materials Coordination
Review MRP outputs and ensure material availability aligns with production plans. Serve as the primary scheduling contact for assigned manufacturing areas. Communicate schedule changes and delivery risks to Operations, Customer Service, and Supply Chain.
Participate and sometimes lead daily/weekly production meetings. Data Analysis & Reporting Track and report KPIs such as schedule attainment, production adherence, and capacity utilization. Maintain accurate master data (routings, lead times, planning parameters) in the ERP/MRP system.
Continuous Improvement
Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including kanban, value stream mapping, and bottleneck reduction.
Contribute to root-cause analysis for late orders, capacity issues, and production delays.
The Honeywell
Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance. Minimum 2 years of production scheduling, planning, or materials management in manufacturing workplace.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (for example SAP, Oracle, Rapid Response.) Experience working in an aerospace, electronic manufacturing or automotive environment. Proficiency in Excel and scheduling analytics tools. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is preferred. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
