Conestoga College seeks a Part-Time Technologist for Animal Care. This role supports hands-on learning in veterinary programs at the Kitchener-Doon campus and requires lab preparation and student supervision.

Working approximately 16 hours per week, this vital position includes supervising students during live animal interactions, preparing lab materials, and ensuring a hygienic setting. The Technologist, Animal Care, plays an essential role in the Veterinary Technician and Veterinary Assistant programs, helping students gain the skills needed in real-world clinical settings.

Key Responsibilities:



• Prepare laboratory materials and maintain cleanliness • Supervise and assess student performance in labs • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines • Maintain and operate lab equipment effectively • Participate in program promotional activities

Requirements: • Two-year diploma in Veterinary Technology • Two years of experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician • Registration in Ontario as a Veterinary Technician • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Access to reliable transportation for off-site work
