Reporting to the Manager, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the promotion of health and the assessment of, the provision of care of, and the treatment of health conditions by supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative means to critically ill adults, children and infants, in order to attain or maintain optimal function.

College of Nurses registration or eligibility ~ 12- 24 months emergency room/ Critical Care experience ~ Demonstrate the Emergency Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement and evaluated emergency patients (to be tested) ~ Excellent communication and collaboration skills with patients, families and other healthcare professionals ~ Demonstrate willingness to participate in staff meeting and unit specific projects ~ Recent satisfactory performance and attendance records ~ Comply with all applicable health and safety policies, procedures and regulations, and actively contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy work setting Baccalaureate degree in nursing Community College Diploma in Emergency Nursing or ENC Certification CTAS training CPI training
