AML Operations Quality Assurance Analyst (8+ years of experience) to perform AML quality assurance reviews and evaluate ML/TF risk within AML/ATF operations 58597 Our financial services client is seeking a AML Operations Quality Assurance Analyst (8+ years of experience) to perform AML quality assurance reviews and evaluate ML/TF risk within AML/ATF operations Join a growing AML Quality Control team supporting critical anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing operations within a major banking workplace. This role focuses on quality assurance reviews, STR assessments, ML/TF risk evaluation, and financial crime investigation support across AML/ATF programs. The position offers exposure to complex AML operations and opportunities for future advancement within the quality control function.

Work Location (Remote, Hybrid or Both?): Hybrid –2 days per week, subject to change Training: 100% in office during the first month Toronto – 79 Wellington Street West, Toronto 12 months Must Haves - 5+ years in AML investigations and STR filing
Robust Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) filing and writing
Understanding of PCMLTFA and related AML/ATF regulations




Experience assessing ML/TF risk across multiple customer and product types with recommendation summaries
University or college degree; ACAMS certification preferred Nice to Have - AML QC/QA experience
Prior knowledge of TD processes and systems
Experience in AML or financial-crimes-related settings Responsibilities - Perform quality assurance reviews across money laundering investigation activities supporting AML and ATF requirements
Evaluate ML/TF risk through quality checks on cases and alerts within AML and ATF controls
Assess potentially suspicious account activity and document recommendations regarding account retention and regulatory reporting obligations
Provide trend analysis of AML/ATF findings and gaps to management
Assist with developing, drafting, and maintaining AML compliance policies, procedures, programs, and frameworks
Represent the QA function on projects, initiatives, and organizational meetings
