In this full time role, you'll support IMAX Corporation's financial reporting and analysis initiatives. Collaborate with the Financial Reporting management team to assist in executing monthly and quarterly consolidated results, ensuring adherence to internal and external reporting standards. This involves revenue recognition efforts for IMAX systems, along with handling detailed account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial results and reports • Assist in the annual financial close processes • Conduct revenue recognition analyses as per ASC 606 • Investigate trends and variances in financial data • Support quarterly SEC filings, including schedules and disclosures
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA designation or in progress • 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting • Advanced Excel skills and analytical capabilities • Flexibility for overtime during peak periods
