This position in Nokia's Optical Architecture group focuses on architecting product specifications and requirements for coherent optical telecommunications. Candidates will utilize their experience in optical networking technologies while working closely with ASIC designers and hardware/software development teams. The role requires a deep understanding of multi-layer networking products and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:



• Collaborate with Product Management to clarify technical requirements • Translate product requirements into architectural specifications • Lead teams to build consensus on technical product architecture • Document explicit product architecture and specifications • Investigate feature requests and propose solutions

Requirements: • Ph.D. + 8 years or M.Sc. + 12 years in telecommunications • Experience with Fault and Performance Management • Broad systems knowledge across multiple disciplines • Familiarity with Optical Networking Technologies and Standards • Excellent communication and presentation skills
